Spark uses her wits to foster outcomes that favor her side of an agenda; Spark's wits can also get her into trouble, however, as she has a nasty habit of letting her tongue run away with the truth.

Once Spark sets her mind on something, she'll plan, plot and conspire to accomplish whatever it is, even if that puts her in tunnel vision. She prides herself as being a little too smooth, too smart, too quick for others. She has a hard time saying what she means, borders on melodramatic, can be obstinate (though at heart, she means well). Spark is loyal to her friends, especially the ones who stick with her through her learning.

Brief History
​
Spark didn't have a tumultuous home life. Her father loved her, supported her, groomed her for greatness- perhaps too much, as it resulted in his daughter possessing a wealth of overconfidence. Spark's mother gave her a taste for praise and approval by having higher standards. Spark had to work for it more and loved the challenge, because in the end, she always got it. Spark's family rarely went against her wishes, what with her father approving of everything she did and her mother largely absent. This resulted in a very spoiled she-cat who was always told her ideas were brilliant.

Although she was graced with a stable family, all the storms in her life came from outside. Sparkpaw endured the WindClan attack as a kit moved to a new territory, leaving behind the home she knew. Most formatively, Spark witnessed Icestar's murder and Dawnstar's bloody rise to power firsthand, resulting in horrible nightmares. She became deeply afraid of the requirement for becoming a warrior: a one-on-one battle with Dawn. Meanwhile, Sparkpaw formed relationships with Doetuft, Talonstone and to a lesser extent, Adderfang- which ultimately resulted in Sparkpaw hardening her resolve to match the ferocity Dawnstar demanded.

Soon after Sparkpaw would face her next trial, one that would cause her to go missing from ShadowClan for moons. A twoleg decided she would make a great addition to its nest (which moved quick on the Thunderpath in a way Spark had never seen before). She escaped the twoleg fairly quickly; it was the journey home that cost her much time. But when Spark made her triumphant return, expecting the warmth of Doetuft's embrace and her mentor's praise? They were gone.
​
Talonstone and Doetuft disappeared, no way of knowing what befell them. The young she-cat spent as much of her time as she could (against rules) searching for her lost friends, but nothing came of her effort. Without their support, Sparkpaw's mind spiraled. Dawnstar went from 'greatest fear' to the apprentice's new role model in the absence of Doetuft (who kept her from the darkness lurking in ShadowClan), spurring Sparkpaw to new heights. Then she discovered Adderfang's corpse. Grief-stricken and vulnerable to influence, Spark decided to follow in Talonstone's pawprints, gave everything to achieve her goal.
Sparkpaw advanced. Mentored by Wildfire, Stormgorse, then finally Dawnstar herself, her skills continued to climb. She fought in several battles against WindClan, proving competence in the eyes of her leader, and yet...emptiness descended. As ShadowClan grew meaner, bloodier, as the numbness of grief faded, Sparkpaw questioned her allegiance. Was Doetuft right about Dawnstar's cruelty all along? After taking part of a stealth attack against RiverClan forces, in a moment of confusion and anxiety, Spark fled.​
​
She's scared, alone, but unable to face the consequences of returning to ShadowClan with empty paws. Her only hope is finding Talonstone and bringing him back to Dawnstar as a peace offering; at least...Spark tells herself it is. She did meet a funny WindClan apprentice by the name of Fernpaw in her time away, and he seemed to have different ideas.
